The Rotary Club of Inverell have installed Helen Tickle as President for the next 12 months following their recent Change Over Dinner at the Inverell RSM Club.
Outgoing President Lindsay Paul, who handed over the charter to Mrs Tickle during the night, assumed the Secretary role while Treasurer is Hugh Holland.
During the night, Libby Steptoe was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship Award at the changeover dinner in recognition of all the work she does for Rotary and in the community.
Mrs Tickle says it was a wonderful night adding they’re focus now will be their annual Book sale which will be held at Flanders House in October and is calling for donations.
In other news, people from all over district 9660 converged in Inverell last month to witness Bruce George being installed as the District Governor.
Inverell Rotary state on a social media post that Bruce you will do a great job and the club is very proud of your achievement.
