Firefighters from the NSW Rural Fire Service Northern Tablelands Team will continue to take advantage of the favourable weather conditions to undertake much needed Hazard Reduction Works ahead of the approaching fire season.
Local crews assisted by NSW RFS North Eastern Area Command Mitigation Crews will complete a 9 hectare burn on Sunset Road at Dundee in the Glen Innes Local Government area today from 10am through until 6pm
Residents and motorists are advised smoke will be visible from surrounding areas including the New England Highway.
The Service reminds the community if they see a fire unattended to call Triple Zero immediately.
