The NSW Rural Fire Service will be conducting a hazard reduction burn of approximately 5 hectares on Hospital Flat Road, Tingha, today
This burn is being carried out to help reduce bush fire risk in the area and improve community safety.
Smoke may be visible in Tingha and surrounding areas and residents are reminded to keep doors and windows closed and remove washing from clotheslines if affected by smoke.
Motorists are also asked to drive with caution in the area.
