The NSW Rural Fire Service Northern Tablelands Team has advised that they’re planning a hazard reduction burn at Inverell lookout on McIlveen Rd this Saturday.

The Hazard Reduction burn at the Inverell Lookout is subject to weather conditions on the day.

This 16-hectare burn aims to reduce bushfire risk for the local community and smoke may be visible in the area.

The NSW RFS ask residents to take precautions, such as keeping windows closed and removing laundry from clotheslines.
