Inverell Hawks Rugby League Club is gearing up for one of the biggest days in the club’s history on Anzac Day with former players of three premiership winning teams being recognized.
This year marks 50 years since the then Inverell Swans broke a 22-year premiership drought when they defeated Moree in the 1975 Grand Final at the Inverell Showground 9 points to 8.

Many members of the 1975, 2000 and 2015 teams will be presented to the expected large crowd, and the first-grade match between Inverell RSM Hawks and Glen Innes Magpies will be preceded by an Anzac Ceremony.
Gates at Varley Oval will open at 11.45am.
