Jim Payne Oval at Warialda will host this Sunday’s Group 19 rugby league grand finals.

The undefeated Warialda Wombats will start firm favourite in first grade when they take on the Inverell Hawks.

The Wombats have easily accounted for the Hawks in both clashes this season, but the Hawks have staged a remarkable late season surge to stagger into the semi-finals and then win both sudden-death games over Bingara and Armidale.

Warialda will meet the undefeated Glen Innes Under 18’s, Ladies League tag will feature Tingha and Narwan, and the ladies League Tag Plate will start the day with Warialda meeting Moree Boomerangs.   

The first game is at 10am.
