Gwydir Shire Council held a farewell function for retiring councillors last Saturday at the Roxy Theatre.
Outgoing Mayor John Coulton, Deputy Mayor Catherine Egan, Dave Coulton, Geoff Smith, Jim Moore, Chris Matthews have confirmed they won’t be standing at the upcoming Local Government Elections
Outgoing Parkes MP Mark Coulton was especially thrilled to be the Master of ceremonies who acknowledged his brother John who he says has been a very effective Mayor for fifteen years along with cousin David who served eight years as a Councillor.
Mr Coulton says it was good to catch up over a cuppa to reflect on their time with Gwydir Shire Council.
