A berth in this year’s Group 19 Rugby League Grand final is up for grabs when the Tingha Tigers host the Uralla Tigers in the Preliminary Final at Bob Ward Oval on Sunday.
Tingha pushed minor premiers Inverell Hawks in last week’s major semi but fell short while Uralla eliminated the Warialda Wombats in a confidence building minor semi-final win.
Tiger Captain Brayden Vickery says Uralla will be buoyed by last week’s win and will be confident of a good performance against them but believes his troops can play a full 80 minutes and claim the victory.
In other Preliminary finals, Glen Innes faces the Moree Boomerangs in Ladies league tag, In Juniors Uralla tackles Inverell while in Reserve Grade, the Inverell Hawks comes up against the Moree Boomerangs.
