The Bundarra Garden Festival held earlier this month has raised over $6000 for various charities.
$5668.95 has been donated to Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group who help all locals fighting any type of cancer, $500 to Perry Cross Spinal Research and an additional $301.10 was raised from Fairview refreshments, plant stall and mulberry picking which has been donated to Melanoma Institute of Australia.
Festival organisers say up to 130 visitors came through the gates each day over the weekend of 9th & 10th November visiting the 6 gardens with visitors from as far as Qld and VIC, Sydney and in between, Western and Northern NSW.
They also sincerely thanked Rotary Club of Uralla for not only providing their support and insurance again to allow them to hold this event, but for their assistance with applying for a grant for the beautiful signs, banners and printing this year.
