Glen Innes Magpies travel to Warialda to take on the Wombats at Jim Payne Oval in Round 8 of the Group 19 Rugby league competition.
Magpies coach Nick Ehsman says they’ve been struck down by a few niggly injuries but hope to get the job done and then look forward to a fortnight off to get players’ bodies right for the back half of the season.
In other games, Guyra Super Spuds make the long trip to Moree to play the Boomerangs while Barraba host the Uralla Tigers.
The Tigers lost their first game of the year last weekend to the Inverell Hawks with Coach Greg Ryan saying the failed to execute last week the way they know how.
Ryan says they’ll be bringing intent, more energy in attack and defence and play out a full 80 minutes adding he’s looking forward to the team putting in a better performance tomorrow.
