Not-for-Profit organisation Glen Industries has taken over the operation of the Kiosk at Copeton Northern Foreshores after the previous licensee Me and Mum’s Kitchen sought an early release from their contract earlier this year due to extenuating personal circumstances.
Glen Industries was the only expression of interest received by Inverell Shire council and after considering their proposal, decided it adequately addressed the selection criteria and offered both Council and the community considerable benefit.
Council offered Glen Industries the Copeton Northern Foreshore Kiosk Licence agreement for a three year period with the option for a further extension with the agreement signed in September.
Trading commenced last month and since opening, Council staff have received positive feedback regarding the Kiosk’s operation.
