The Macintyre High School U15s Girls Basketball team travelled to Tamworth yesterday to play against Oxley High School in the North West knockout final.

According to a social media post, it was a tough and close game every quarter but unfortunately the team couldn’t hold the lead in the final minutes of the game, going down 34-32.

As runners up, the team will now progress through to the State Basketball knockout with a 2^nd chance opportunity in their sights to play against the highly competitive Sydney teams.
