Gwydir Shire Council is dedicated to ensuring our regional road network is resilient, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our community.
Since the project began in 2022, we have gathered invaluable data that informs road maintenance and upgrade decisions across the region.
To build on this progress, Council need your input and by contributing feedback on property production levels and freight routes, they’ll help them improve the way they prioritise road works, ensuring that resources are allocated where they are needed most.
Survey Purpose
The purpose of our location-based surveys is to collect accurate, firsthand information from the people who use our roads daily.
This feedback will directly impact future infrastructure planning, road maintenance, and upgrades.
By filling out the surveys, residents will be helping Council understand which roads are most critical to local production and freight, and where improvements can have the greatest impact on safety and connectivity.
Residents are invited to complete as many surveys as relevant to their experiences with the road network.
Prizes to Be Won
As a thank you for taking part in this important community engagement effort, Council is offering some exciting prizes!
By completing one or more surveys, you’ll be automatically entered into a random draw. Two lucky participants will win a $5,000 fuel voucher, and five additional participants will receive a $100 IGA voucher.
