Former local performers and songwriters has had a big night at the 2024 Australian Songwriting Association Awards held in Sydney last night.

Chris Richter and Jasmine Aleisha won the Open section with the song called ‘2 B Alice’, a song with an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Then to top off a perfect night Jasmine and Chris won the Australian Song Writers Association Song Writer of the Year award.

Chris says it’s a privilege and an honour to work with his daughter and to be recognised on a national platform was quite remarkable.

He thanked the organisers of the event and congratulated the other songwriters and winners of the other categories adding there was some amazing performances on the night and it was such a privilege to be part of the event.
