The Inverell Highlanders will play their first home game of the Central North Rugby season when they host the Quirindi Lions at Rugby Park tomorrow.
The Highlanders kicked off the year with a hard-fought loss to Pirates followed by a bye and will be expecting a good showing against the Lions.
Quirindi defeated pirates last week and Highlanders 1st grade coach gemma Noller says they won’t be taking them lightly as the push for their first win of the year.
Noller says the game should be a tough, solid contest with the match providing an opportunity to try a few new combinations in the backline.
In the other Round 3 1st grade match, the Moree Bulls are at home to Pirates in what will be a physical affair at Weebolla Oval.
