More than 330 NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers and staff took part in the 24th annual Northern Exercise at Glen Innes Showground over the weekend.
Crews from 12 districts across northern NSW, along with Queensland RFS members, worked through 12 operational scenarios including bush firefighting and motor vehicle response.
Exercises like this ensure RFS members remain trained, coordinated and ready to protect communities across NSW.
The Glen Innes crew came out on top taking out the Crew Performance top honours, with Diggings 1A named runners up.
