Fire and Rescue NSW crews attended a caravan park last Thursday afternoon following reports of a fire.
Just before 5:30, crews arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke emitting from a cabin.
Firefighters made entry and quickly brought the fire under control and extinguished the blaze within 30 minutes.
The cabin’s occupant was away at the time, but unfortunately the owner’s pet dog perished in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
