Tingha Tigers faint finals aspirations continue to burn after their thumping of reigning premiers the Narwan Eels at Bob Ward Oval on Saturday.
The Tigers were well led by Brayden Vickery who scored four tries in the 52-20 victory.
Competition leaders Armidale Rams had no trouble with the Moree Boomerangs, running rampant with 11 tries in their 60-12 win.
Walcha season finished on a low note after forfeiting their match to the Warialda Wombats.
The Group 19 Minor premiership will be decided this weekend when the Wombats host the Rams at Jim Payne Oval.
In Ladies League Tag, Narwan upset the Tingha Tigers 24-20 to inflict the Tigers 2nd loss this year, Warialda thumped Walcha 36-6, Armidale scorched the Boomerangs 52-6 while the Bingara Bullets overcame Glen Innes 14-4.
Only the one U18s match was played over the weekend with the Warialda Wombats defeating Narwan 34-26 while Inverell Hawks forfeited to Glen Innes.
