The 2026 Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup kicks off today under a revamped format which will see the tournament staged as a split event across two age-group blocks.
From today until Wednesday, the U8s, U10s and U12s kick off the tournament, followed by a special training camp on Thursday and then the U14s, U17s and Female Section take centre stage from Friday through to Sunday.
Tournament organiser Heinrich Haussler says this new format gives each section of the tournament its own time to shine and creates an exciting week of football, development and opportunity in Inverell.
He says teams are coming from all over NSW and parts of QLD including Toowoomba, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Glen Innes and inverell
