The Northern Tablelands Local Land Services are inviting Landowners to learn more about improving the quality of farm dams via a field day event with an added incentive to get on board.
The field day event enables landowners to learn how enhancing the farm dam can support local biodiversity, how to assess water quality and all about acoustic monitoring, with the event also being an opportunity to learn more about the value of nature on property and how enhancing the farm dam can improve water quality which will benefit livestock.
The field day, which will be conducted on the 26 November from 10am to 2pm with an event location to be determined in the Northern Tablelands region, will also include the added incentive of a free water test on farm dams for the first 5 people that register their participation.
