The NSW Electoral Commission is encouraging all eligible voters in Uralla Shire Council (Ward A) to enrol or check their enrolment details before the close of roll this evening ahead of the April 18 By Election.
NSW Electoral Commissioner Rachel McCallum says whether you need to enrol for the first time, update your details or just check where you are enrolled, it’s quick and easy to do online.
Ms McCallum says it is compulsory to enrol to vote in NSW local government elections if you are eligible and aged 18 or over.
She says with a by-election approaching, now is the time for eligible voters to ensure their details are up to date so they are ready to have their say.
The Electoral roll will close at 6pm.
