Inverell Police have arrested two men for drug related offences following separate incidents in the region over the past week.
Last Friday, police attended a residential premises in Tomline St at Bundarra where it’s alleged a large cannabis plant and an amount of cannabis leaf were located.
A 31-year-old male occupant of the residence was issued a court attendance notice for the offences of Cultivate prohibited plant and possess prohibited drug and will appear in Inverell Local Court on 9th of June.
Meanwhile, police executed a search warrant at a premises in Granville St in Inverell yesterday where it’s alleged an amount of cash and cannabis were located and seized.
A 46-year-old male occupant was arrested and charged with Supply and Possess prohibited drug and Dealing with proceeds of crime and was granted conditional bail to appear at Inverell Local Court on 18th of June.
