Uralla Shire Council and Armidale Regional Council are working together to develop a Regional Drought Resilience Plan and will be hosting workshops being in Uralla and Bundarra next week.
The community workshops will assist both councils to enhance drought preparedness, and to understand what actions residents want to see to improve their resilience to future drought events.
Workshops will be held at pop-up stall at the Bundarra General Store between 2:30 and 5pm on Wednesday 11th of September, the Uralla Bowling Club on Thursday 12th of September between 5:30 and 7:30 and a pop-up stall at Foodworks Uralla on Friday 13th of September between 8:30 and 10:30 am.
An online survey is available on Uralla Shire Councils’ Facebook page for those unable to attend the workshops.
This project has been made possible with joint funding from the Australian Government and the NSW Government.
