Domestic bulky waste should be presented this Sunday 8th ready for collection to commence from Monday 9th of September.
Residents are asked to separate and stack items into 4 piles on the kerb into Large items, General Household Waste, Green Waste Metals, and whitegoods & E-waste with a 3 cubic metres of waste per household permitted.
Items considered suitable items for collection include Mattresses and sofas, Furniture, Rugs and carpets, Clothing and shoes, Timber and wooden pallets, – Toys, Broken garden tools and pots, Garden pruning’s less than 1.8m in length, Tree stumps or thick branches under 250mm diameter, Kitchen appliances and white goods with doors removed, Scrap metal and empty tins, Lawn mowers and bicycles, bundled Fencing and wiring, Air conditioners and humidifiers and E-waste.
Waste left after the collection run is completed was deemed unsuitable or a prohibited item and commercial premises are prohibited from participating in the domestic bulky waste collection.
