NSW Over’s 40’s Bowls team which includes Inverell Bowler Scott Hamilton, has gone down to their QLD counterparts in the State of Origin Test Series, 2 matches to 1 at St Johns Park Bowling Club in Sydney.

NSW defeated QLD 38 shots to 31 in their first game, went down 43-33 shots in their 2^nd game on Wednesday and were unsuccessful in the decider, losing 41 shots to 32 yesterday

QLD have regained the shield after losing to NSW last year.

Hamilton was the team lead for NSW Team 1, combining with Craig Donaldson from Tuncurry Beach, Beresfield’s David Govan and David Axon from Taren Point.
