The Delungra District Development Council has elected a new committee after Expression of Interest were advertised in January.

The new committee consists of Ella Shepherd as the new chairperson, vice chairperson Jim Townsend, Secretary is Elizabeth Sheather and Liah Hayden assumes the Treasurer role.

The Development Council acts as an advisory body on Delungra community matters and provides a forum for residents of Delungra to develop a coordinated approach to the issues, opportunities and future planning relevant to the Delungra community.

The Committee has agreed to meet every two months unless there is a necessity to call a meeting beforehand.
