The Inverell Hawks are back at Varley Oval on Sunday when they meet the Moree Boomerangs in Group 19 Rugby league action, as they look to cement top spot on the 1st grade competition ladder.
Coming off last week’s exciting draw against Tingha Tigers, Hawks Coach Jamie McCormack says his team a nursing some bruises but will be well prepared for Sunday’s match.
McCormack says it’s a danger game for his team because the Boomerangs are a tough team to gauge.
In tomorrow’s other round 11 games, Tingha Tigers will be hoping to hold onto second spot on the points table when they host 3rd placed Glen Innes magpies at Bob Ward Oval, Narwan Eels travel to Uralla to take on the Tigers while the Warialda Wombats will look to keep their premiership defence back on track when they host the Guyra Super spuds.
