Today is Daffodil Day, an annual event held to raise funds for cancer research and support services
The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for everyone impacted by cancer and every dollar raised through the Daffodil Day helps Cancer Council fund world-class cancer research, helping save lives and bringing us closer to a cancer free future.
The Cancer Council state almost 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, so it takes everyone to give hope for better treatments and better outcomes.
Last year, Australians raised over $3.3 million towards lifesaving cancer research and this year, they would love to have your vital support once more.
Donations can be made through the Cancer Council website.
