Campbell and Freebairn have kicked off the new season where they left off with a 4 wicket win over Staggy Creek in Round 2 action in the Inverell Cricket competition on Saturday.

Set 166 for victory, veteran Dave Mudaliar with an unbeaten 61, guided his team to victory and was ably assisted by Brendan Campbell.

Earlier in the day Jackson Binnie with an undefeated 45 and Nick Cumming with 42 helped Staggy to reach 8/165.

Meantime a dominate knock from Ryan Campbell led the way for Square & Compass against an undermanned Delungra unit at McCosker 2.

Campbell smashed an unconquered 120 in his team’s score of 4 declared for 275 and in reply, Delungra were bundled out for 72 with Jai Tasker claiming 4/28
