Inverell Shire Council will provide support towards this year’s Joey’s Mini World Cup in Inverell in October by providing sponsorship to the value of almost $12,000.
Council sponsorship includes the waiving of the associated fees for the use of the fields at the Sporting Complex, the costs of line marking fields prior to the event, rubbish removal and lighting costs.
Since its inception in 2012, Inverell Shire Council have previously sponsored the Joeys Mini World cup with sponsorship of over $50,000 with the biggest contribution coming in 2023 when Council donated over $27,000.
Inverell Shire Mayor Kate Dight says council is very supportive of this competition.
