Outgoing Federal member for Parkes Mark Coulton has spoken in Parliament about his opposition of the Future Made in Australia Bill.
Mr Coulton says he’s becoming increasingly frustrated by the constant virtue-signalling of the Labor Government adding the Future Made in Australia Bill is just another example of the disconnect of our city-based MPs who think they’re going to save the environment while creating jobs without any real understanding of how it works.
He says if we’re going to make renewables in this country, we’re going to have to stop the attack on the mining industry, questioning where does Labor think all the raw materials for renewable energy comes from?
Mr Coulton says some in Parliament House need to look at what made this country so great which is the ability to produce more food than we need and to provide cheap energy.
