Inverell Shire Council will be engaging Micromex Research to conduct a telephone and online survey to gather input from the community as part of their newly adopted Community Engagement Strategy.
The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information direct from the community to assist the newly elected Council in reviewing the Community Strategic Plan and to contribute to forming the strategic direction of Councils Delivery Program over this 4-year term.
The phone survey will commence today and will be a random selection of residents from across the breadth of the Shire while the Online survey will commence the following week and is available for those who wish to contribute to the survey but are not contacted by phone.
Inverell Shire Mayor Cr Kate Dight says this is a wonderful opportunity to listen directly to the community to ascertain their aspirations and needs adding the survey is invaluable to them as Councillors as they look towards setting Council’s direction to deliver the best outcomes for the community.
Residents contacted will receive a call from (02) 8358 5771.
