Christmas in the Sapphire City will be officially launched this Saturday when the lighting of the Inverell Christmas Tree will be held, in conjunction with the Inverell East Rotary Christmas Fair.
The Christmas Fair begins at 4pm in Campbell Park, with chocolate wheels, entertainment and plenty of food available.
Santa will drop in to see the children at 7pm and the lights on the Christmas Tree will be turned on at 7:45pm in the grounds of the Inverell Visitor Information Centre in Campbell St.
Inverell Shire Council is inviting everyone to come down, maybe win a prize, have a bite to eat, enjoy the atmosphere and join the community in welcoming the Christmas Season.
