The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to transfer a man in his 20’s after an accident near Glen Innes on Saturday.

The man is believed to have sustained lower leg injuries in an earlier motorcycle accident.

He was stabilised by hospital staff and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to the Tamworth from Glen Innes Hospital.
