The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a property, east of Bingara following a horse-riding incident on Sunday.
Around 11.30am, the chopper attended a property at Whitlow, to treat a woman in her 50s who had sustained head, neck and back injuries after falling from a horse.
The patient was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
