The wet and cold weather forecast may hamper many sports which are scheduled for this weekend.
The postponed Round 13 matches in Group 19 between the Inverell Hawks and Glen Innes Magpies at Varley Oval along with the Tingha Tigers/Uralla Tigers game at Bob Ward Oval, are under threat of not going ahead with forecast rain expected to hit today and tomorrow.
Both Inverell and Tingha have secured a finals berth but Uralla Tigers need to win to book a spot in finals
Tigers Captain Brayden Vickery says tomorrow’s game is a dangerous game for his team as most of his players haven’t played any footy for almost a month which isn’t the best preparation leading into a finals series.
The Group 19 Finals series begins next weekend.
