Bingara Visitor information Centre is encouraging locals to become involved in their tourism industry.
The Centre is requiring volunteers on weekends to welcome visitors and share hidden gems, help boost local tourism and support small businesses, contribute to the economic growth of the community and build new skills and connections.
Gwydir Shire Council says whether you’re a long-time local or new to town, be part of something bigger — support your community, grow tourism, and make a difference.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at the Centre are welcome to come along on Friday 17 October 2025 at 10:30am to the Bingara Visitor Information Centre to learn more and get involved.
