Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan has had a busy week first week back in state parliament last week.
Mr Moylan spoke about the Bingara Bush Bash, Paramedic Peter Higgins on his 40 years of service, Guyra’s Thriftmas in July, the Bingara Orange Festival, 50 years of the Inverell SES, and an MC3 student from Glen Innes High School.
Last Tuesday, Mr Moylan spoke in support of Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Amendment (Knife Scanning) Bill 2026 but stressed the Government’s amendments do not go far enough, and the opposition intend to propose further changes.
He also met with the Health Minister Ryan Park to discuss the news of additional clinicians for Armidale and Inverell, NSW Farmers Association, Clubs NSW, the Shooter’s Union of Australia, Rice Growers Association, NSW Wine and the Australian Grape and Wine Association.
