Bundarra Township Under Water Restrictions

by | Mar 3, 2026 | Local Government, Media Release

Uralla Shire Council is committed to managing our water resources responsibly and proactively. As a community, we all have a role to play in preserving our water resources now and into the future.

To guide this, Council continues to closely monitor dam storage levels, weather conditions and projected demand to ensure long-term water security for the Bundarra Township water supply.

As current storage levels have fallen below 74%, Level 1 water restrictions have been implemented. These restrictions apply to all properties within the Bundarra Township that are connected to the town water supply

  • Hand held hoses and drip irrigation systems should not be used between 10 am – 5 pm
  • Sprinklers are permitted for a maximum of 2 hours a day before 10 am or after 5 pm
  • Cleaning hard surfaces with a hand held hose is not permitted at any time
  • Vehicle washing with buckets is permitted at any time

Council staff will continue to monitor the situation and will update the community should conditions change. Please contact Council on 6778 6300 should you have any questions or concerns.
