Moree Bulls have gained a little revenge from last year’s grand final after upsetting reigning premiers Narrabri Blue Boars 25-20 in another nailbiter in Round 7 of the Central North Rugby Competition.
Narrabri’s loss has given Gunnedah Red Devils the outright lead after they accounted for Pirates in Tamworth 45-31.
Pirates loss has seen them drop to last on the Central North points table with the Highlanders leapfrogging them without playing a game on Saturday into 5th.
Meantime the Inverell Highlanders Reserve Grade went down to Barraba Rams 24-10 whilst their Women’s 10’s team were demolished 85-5.
