Police have located a 12-year-old boy after he went missing from Armidale on Saturday morning

12-year-old Thomas Sherriff was last seen on Jeffrey Street, about 1.30am on Saturday morning and when he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to New England Police District were notified yesterday and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family held serious concerns for Thomas’ welfare due to his age.

NSW Police advised that Thomas was located safe and well.
