Nominations for Bingara’s Australia Day Awards will close today at 4pm.
The Bingara Special Events Committee in conjunction with Gwydir Shire Council invite you to nominate citizens for the Citizen, Young Citizen, Volunteer or Volunteer Team/Group, Community Event of the Year, Junior and senior Sportsperson and Sports Team of the year awards.
The awards aim to recognise outstanding achievement during the past year and/or contribution to the local community over a number of years.
Nomination forms are available at the Bingara Library and Bingara Council Office, or you can download the relevant forms from the Gwydir Shire Council website.
Winners will be announced on Australia Day, Sunday 26th January at the Roxy Theatre, Bingara.
