Bingara is celebrating having a state champion after its Bowls team claimed the Grade 7 State title last weekend in Sydney.
The team had advanced to the finals after claiming the Zone 3 pennant in May after accounting Murrurundi, Bendemeer and Inverell Sporties at South Tamworth Bowling Cub.
Bingara were drawn against Harbord, Hunters Hill and Austral in section 4 at Guildford, defeating all three sides, progressing to the finals alongside Hunters Hill, Leeton and Cabramatta.
They defeated Leeton Soldiers 75-45, Hunters Hill 67-50 and then claimed the final against Tura Beach 75-43 to claim the grade 7 state pennant flag for 2024.
