A MacIntyre High School student has excelled at the 2024 NSW cross-country championships held at the International Equestrian Centre in Sydney last week.
Bella Griffin won a bronze medal for the All Schools and CHS in the 15-16 girls Multiclass 3000m making it the second year in succession that Bella has made the state team.
Bella raced in the 12-14 division last year and won a gold medal.
Meantime, Kayden Elliot from Glen Innes High won silver across all Schools 17 years 6000m and a CHS gold medal, backing up his incredible performance from regional championships in Coolah where he placed first in June.
North west secondary team manager Greg Allen says the team from Glen Innes High School always competes well while they have representation at a national level, from Armidale as well as Inverell which is great to see.
