Olympic Breaststroke swimmer and Inverell Ford ambassador Ella Ramsey will be in Inverell today for a meet and greet with local fans.
Ella will be at the dealership in Byron street from 4pm, giving fans an opportunity to get an autograph and chat with one of Australian swimming’s current stars and will also be a guest at the official opening of the Inverell Aquatic Centre on Friday.
The 21-year-old competed at the Paris Olympics last year, where she played a role as a heat swimmer in the women’s 4x100m medley relay team, earning her an Olympic silver medal.
Unfortunately, Olympic, Commonwealth and World record holder in the 200m breaststroke Zac Stubblety-Cook, who was also scheduled to be at the event, is unable to join the visit due to injury.
