The countdown is on for the official opening of the Inverell Aquatic Centre next month.
This week, there was increased noise in the Centre while construction of their delayed new Splashpad Toy was erected.
Inverell Shire Mayor Kate Dight confirmed the Centre will be officially opened on the 12th of September and will hoping for a memorable event with some special guests.
Mayor Dight says the last bit of construction work is currently underway ahead of the official opening ceremony.
