Work commenced this week on Hydrostatic testing of the 50m pool at the Inverell Aquatic Centre.
The 50m pool has been filled with water for testing prior to backfilling as an important milestone of the project.
The pool will remain filled for approximately two weeks to allow for the testing process to be completed.
Excavation works and site preparation is also underway to enable the construction of the program pool. Construction will commence once the excavation has been completed.
The internal structures for the amenities, kitchen, offices and other public areas are well underway.
