Applications are now open for the NSW Government’s Holiday Break Autumn and/or Winter 2026 program which invites eligible councils and organisations to apply for funding to run events to engage young people aged 12-24 years.
The Holiday Break program provides access to activities during the school holidays and has now expanded to include all of NSW and offers free activities that cover a variety of interests, like sports, science and the arts.
The aim of the program is to allow young people to develop their skills, connect with others, and explore new ideas.
Applicants can deliver the activities in the autumn and/or winter holidays, and apply for both rounds in a single application, Eligible organisations can apply for funding, which can be split across the autumn and/or winter school holidays with successful applicants to receive one funding agreement for the program.
Applications are now open and close Sunday, 15 February 2026 at 11:59pm.
