The Inverell MacIntyre Lions Club in conjunction with the Inverell Shire Council completed the annual White Goods and E-Waste collection day in Inverell yesterday.
The Inverell MacIntyre Lions Club and Inverell Shire council have been attending to this environmental service project since 2016 when the service began and, in that time, it has been estimated that over 100 tonnes of product has been collected from premises in Inverell.
Sunday’s collection saw members and helpers of the Lions Club arrange 86 pick-ups around Inverell with the total amount of product collected of 4.28 tonnes.
This total tonnage is less than in previous years and the members of the Inverell MacIntyre Lions Club is most pleased to be able to assist Inverell Shire Council with this environmental service project.
