Gwydir Shire Council’s Disability Advisory Committee will host an Aged and Disability Access Roadshow Expo next month at the Warialda Town Hall to provide support for the community’s elderly.
The aim of this free event is to find out what support is available for the ageing population and those with a disability in the Gwydir area.
The expo will feature care organisations such as Inverell Mobility, Community Home Support Program, Meals on Wheels, Dementia Australia, Connect Home Care, Community College, Aidacare, Acacia Medical and the Warialda Multipurpose Centre Community Nurses.
